Những đợt lạnh từ cơn gió cực rét Bắc Cực đã đưa nhiệt độ nhiều tiểu bang xuống thấp nhất trong vài chục năm qua, cũng như tràn ngập tuyết. Với họa sĩ người Anh Simon Beck, tuyết trở thành một khung vải bố cho ông thực hiện những bức tranh tuyết tuyệt đẹp và công phu. Chỉ với com-pa và đôi chân, Simon đi trên tuyết hàng chục dặm để tạo nên những bức tranh trên tuyết khổng lồ, khi nhìn toàn cảnh từ trên cao. Như bức tranh chó sói hú trăng, Simon đã đi trên tuyết 30 mile trong 11 tiếng đồng hồ để tạo nên bức tranh tuyết này.
